NASCAR Hot Wheels Racing Select – 2001 Matt Kenseth Rookie of the Year

If you are a collector of NASCAR Hot Wheels, you may want to consider the Hot Wheels Racing ‘Select’ vehicles as a good place to start. These vehicles are very authentic models that show a lot of attention to details to the engines, chassis and interiors. One might say, these 2001 models (1:64 scale) are for the person that wants the best in MASCAR Hot Wheel collectibles.

Today’s car is the ‘Rookie of the Year, Matt Kenseth – 2001. It is a “NASCAR” model which has highly detailed diecast chassis, multi-piece engine and very realistic racing tires. Some of the other notable features are as follows:

DeWalt logo on top and sides

Yellow body, black top

“Rookie of the Year” sticker on blister package

No. ’17’ on top and sides

Sponsor ads on all sides

Goodyear Eagle Tires

Black racing wheels

Mirror stand for display

Driver signature on roof sides

Clear windshield

Opening/closing hood

Ford Taurus on the front

Ford logo on rear bumper

HotWheels.com on rear bumper

Package size is 5″ x 7″ (blister pack)

This car is one of several variations I found out there of this one car. For the diecast NACCAR (Hot Wheels) collector, there are unlimited opportunities to collect different variations of the cars based on:
